First introduced in 2002, the Cheyenne is a collaborative project between father and son: Grant Neil Byce II, Fred Bear's now retired master bowmaker, and Grant Neil Byce III, Bear's current plant manager. The Cheyenne's length is perfect for allowing for the take-down limbs to curve back, while the grip is designed to feel fully supported in the hand while retaining the crescent style reminiscent of Fred Bear's favorite bows of the early 1960s.
