The magnification range is 40–1600x. Achromatic lenses provide a sharp and extremely detailed image, without aberrations. At the maximum magnification, when using the 100x objective, the oil immersion search method can be applied (a bottle of immersion oil is included in the kit). Two wide-angle eyepieces with pointer make it easier to study samples with complicated structures.
The stage is equipped with a mechanical translator, thanks to which it is possible to place the sample quickly and precisely under the objective. Coarse and fine adjustment knobs are used to fine-tune the sharpness of the image. An Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm is installed under the table, under which LED lighting with adjustable brightness is placed. The lighting can be powered by AC mains or batteries.
The main feature of the microscope is its digital camera. It is installed in the optical tube in place of the eyepiece. To connect the camera to a computer just use a USB cable. The camera reproduces images in real time with a resolution of up to 2048x1536 pixels. You can take photographs or record videos. This camera is a great solution for recording the main stages of research, creating presentations or video lessons. The digital camera is accompanied by an installation CD, which contains the necessary software and drivers.
