The Levenhuk LX700 laser rangefinder is a compact, lightweight instrument that measures distances and angles, as well as calculates the speed of moving objects. It is characterized by fast performance, low power consumption and high measurement accuracy. It can be aimed at targets of various sizes, both large (such as buildings or trees) and relatively small (such as flag poles or small wildlife). This instrument can measure distances up to 700 meters.

The optics provide a magnification of 6x, so the rangefinder can also be used as a classic observation monocular. The rangefinder has two modes of operation: a single distance measurement mode and a scanning mode. In scan mode, measurements can be made continuously, which is useful when you want to measure the distance to a moving object, for example. There is also a flag tracking mode, used to measure the distance to a single small object within the field of view. The tool quickly locates it and emits a vibration when it has fixed its position. There is also a slope mode. In slope mode, all measurements appear in real time.

The meter is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that can be recharged via the included USB cable (AC adapter not included). There is an automatic shutdown function, which allows you to save battery. Although it is designed to be held, the instrument is still equipped with a 1/4" thread useful for housing the rangefinder on a standard tripod and providing more stability to the instrument.

Please note: During operation, IR illumination (infrared light) can be detected by cameras and camcorders as well as other similar electronic devices.
