ROMEO7 offers unmatched ruggedness for today's MSR platforms, regardless of caliber. Battery life is approximately 62,500 hours (at medium setting) and the low AA battery compartment allows for quick battery replacement without having to remove the red dot from the gun. The high-performance lens coating not only allows for excellent light transmission and zero distortion, but also allows for the highest possible spot brightness. The 2 MOA dot is optimal for use at close range until the mid-range target is reached. The ROMEO7 includes both a standard QD mount and a fixed low mount to accommodate a variety of systems. Water resistant (IPX-7 for full immersion up to 1 meter) and anti-fog performance. The body is CNC machined 6061 aluminum to give extreme strength and durability. It is equipped with the MOTAC ™ (Motion Activated Illumination) system which turns on when it detects movement and turns off when left still.
