When adding a new handguard to rifles, consumers usually take the next step of adding iron sights on their increased rail space, thanks to the extended view range offered by the new forearm. Now, Brownells brings these two upgrades together into one, combining the Midwest Industries AR-15 Slim Line Handguard with Midwest's Flip-Up Combat Sights. The Mid Line Industries Slim Line handguard offers AR owners three rows of M-LOK attachment points, as well as a continuously floating Picatinny rail that runs along the top of the forearm. The handguard is available in 9.25, 10.5, 12.625, 14 and 15 inch lengths which match many of today's popular barrel lengths for AR style rifles and pistols. Each handguard is attached to the top receiver via the company's heat-treated 4140 cylindrical nut. Combined with these handguards is Midwest Industries' AR-15 Flip-Up Combat Sight. These sights can be adjusted with 1.5 MOA or 2 MOA on the front pillar, while the rear aperture offers 0.5 MOA adjustments. When not in use, the sights fold flat on the rail and when up, provide shooters with a common, recognizable and easy-to-use A2-style image.
