V-box Color Basic Kit damper - BEITER
The various stabilizers on the market have different stiffnesses.
They are often too hard, but sometimes perhaps also too soft. With this multifunctional damping system, each stabilizer can be adapted to the respective shooter.
For this purpose, not only the different degrees of membrane hardness can be used, but also the available weights and spacers. These weights and spacers can change the weight shift and thus, due to their inertia, in combination with the Beiter V-BOX, the overall damping behavior.
Where should or can the weight be placed?
It certainly makes sense to distribute the weight in front of and behind the V-BOX.
It is not advisable to place more than 10 oz. in front of the V-BOX. With a total weight of 16 oz. the weight could be distributed like this: 2 x 3 oz. and 1 x 1 oz. in front and 3x3 oz. behind the Beiter V-BOX. And this always in coordination with the membrane: at maximum weight it is inevitable to use the two hardest membranes.
If you want to pull with less weight, the weight shift forward on the threaded rod is possible by using the spacers. This is because by shifting the weights forward, thanks to the law of the lever, it is possible to use less weight to optimize damping and weight shift.
