allows you to make it easily
changes to the recalibration of the
shell, having a very high precision on lowering
of the shoulder thus modifying the headspace of the case. The engraved signs
on the MDA they are approximately .001" (true adjustment 0.000992")
shoulder droop. Dividing engraved signs displacement
is therefore equal to approximately 0.0005". The design of the MDA does not allow
to work with the Forster Co-Ax press and with progressive presses
and RCBS Summit. In some cases, with very short gauges it is
the use of the extended shell holder is necessary. A practical screw
for fixing by hand, it allows the ring nut to be closed once
found the right setting. The MDA once set remains on
dies like the original ferrule once removed from the press. This
version unlike the younger sister with the fixing grain
it is ideal for those who use a single die for multiple rifles
same caliber, as the practical opening system of the bezel
allows for a very fast headspace change.
